OBAMA HOUSE OF CAMPBELL KENYA WHITE LION

Former president Barack Obama's personal chef has drowned near the family's home at Martha's Vineyard.  Tafari Campbell worked as a chef for former US president Barack Obama during his time at the White House and after he left office.

Campbell's Tomb was named after Colonel Patrick Campbell, the British Consul who supported the work of Howard Vyse and Giovanni Caviglia at Giza). It is a matter of record that in 1830 Colonel Vyse found this very wide shaft (it is thought that at least 10,000 tonnes of limestone had been dug out of it!), almost square (9m x 8m), surrounded on all sides by a deep trench. On 11 February 1837, when the sand had been cleared out of it to a depth of more than 30m, he reached what he thought was the bottom, where he recorded finding a number of sarcophagi, one of which is made of basalt, now resides in the British Museum. His excavation revealed only the upper parts of the tomb, which consisted of a secondary burial, generally agreed to be from the 26th dynasty.

Making Mull Of Kintyre: Paul McCartney takes us to High Park Farm 40 years on

Still one of the biggest songs on the planet, Mull of Kintyre turned 40 last Christmas. To mark the anniversary, Paul McCartney told The Big Issue of the love that inspired it, while Malcolm Jack made a special journey to the land that Macca still holds dear

Sigurd Hart or Sigurd Hjort was a legendary king of Ringerike (modern central south Norway), during the late 9th or early 10th centuries. he is mentioned in Ragnarssona þáttr ("The Tale of Ragnar's Sons") and in Halvdan Svartes saga ("Halfdan the Black's Saga").

Ragnarssona þáttr states that Sigurd Hart was the son of Helgi the Sharp (the great-great-grandson of king Ring of Ringerike) of the Dagling dynasty and Helgi's wife Aslaug. Helgi was reportedly the son-in-law of Sigurd Snake-in-the-Eye (one of Ragnar Lodbrok's sons) and Blaeja, the daughter of king Aelle II of Northumbria.

n November 1966, Paul McCartney and Mal Evans’s trip to Spain took a spontaneous turn when they decided to go on safari in Kenya. Paul had spent a week on a road trip through France, and he met Mal in Bordeaux on November 12. They drove towards Spain, hoping to visit John Lennon on the set of the film “How I Won the War,” but they learned along the way that filming had moved on and John was already back in London. Disappointed, Paul decided to book a safari trip to Kenya on the spot.

Paul and Mal flew from Seville to Madrid, then from Madrid to Nairobi in Kenya, with a stop in Rome. Paul’s girlfriend, actress Jane Asher, joined them.

In Kenya, they visited Tsavo National Park, where they saw Mzima Springs and a variety of wildlife. They then visited Amboseli National Park, before heading back to Nairobi. There, they stayed at the Treetops Hotel, a unique lodge built in trees that had been visited by Queen Elizabeth II in 1952.
