Global cooling and fire

Recently Thredbo in Australias Snowy Mts recorded its lowest ever December temperature at 2 degrees celsius Now if you drive a V8 car on a cool clear night you get maybe 20 miles per gallon but if its a hot day you will only get 12 miles per gallon because there is less oxygen.So recently Australia has had severe bushfires as it had earlier a warm spell in spring   but then milder days and cool nights Thus feeding any fire with oxygen and making them spread.The cooler night also kills off more leaves on trees creating more fuel which of course worsens the situation. The media and government lie about science everyday as they push their warming agenda. In 1851 Victoria had 5 million hectares burnt by fire in the years since only around 1 million have been affected showing that it is not the worst this year as they tell us.

7 days ago - Australia's record lowest Summer daily-max temperature has just been broken, ... On Tuesday, December 03, Thredbo Top Station's highest recording was a mere -1.0C

Major Victorian bushfires occurred on Black Thursday in 1851, where an estimated 5 million hectares were burnt, followed by another blaze on Red Tuesday in February 1891 in South Gippsland when about 260,000 hectares were burnt, 12 people died and more than 2,000 buildings were destroyed

A layer of warm air sitting over a layer of cold air is called a temperature inversion. Inversions are common during the night and early morning when cool night air collects close to the ground (Figure 4). This arrangement of air is stable because cold air near the ground is heavy and tends to stay near the ground. The warm air above the inversion is lighter and tends to stay above the inversion.
There are often strong winds in the warm air above inversions, but while the inversion lasts these winds cannot come down to ground level.
As the sun heats the ground during the day, the inversion weakens and strong winds may begin to blow near the ground (Figure 5). This is one reason why many bushfires burn more fiercely in the afternoon, as happened with the fires in Hobart in 1967.

Global cooling was a conjecture, especially during the 1970s, of imminent cooling of the Earth culminating in a period of extensive glaciation. Some press reports in the 1970s speculated about continued cooling;

Cooler air is more dense than warmer air. Warm air can actually hold more moisture because molecules are farther apart, making more room for moisture. Cold air is dense and compact; it's "thicker," so when you breathe in you get more oxygen

  • If the new Moon stands on its points, expect precipitation to spill out.
  • A winter full Moon is a time for long cold snaps.
  • A full Moon in April brings frost.
  • Sailors agree that the full Moon “eats clouds.”
