The fair ground area was very reasonably priced and we actually ended up going home with loads of spare tokens. Princess enjoyed the bouncy castle, mini roller coaster, carousel and tea cup rides. We also used the Blair Drummond tokens to purchase animal feed for the petting area. The safari park or adventure park on their own would certainly warrant a visit on their own merits, but with them both together, it’s a no brainer. The King has yet to make the journey to Scotland with us but when he does, we’ll be sure to pay another visit to theair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park!

Drummond (12 March 1934[1][2][3][4] – 6 May 1969) was a Jamaican ska trombonist and composer. He was one of the original members of The Skatalites, and composed many of their tunes. In 1966, Drummond was convicted of murdering his 23-year-old lover, Anita "Marguerita" Mahfood.

born at the Jubilee Hospital in KingstonJamaica, to Doris Monroe and Uriah Drummond.[3] He was educated at Kingston's Alpha Boys School, where he later taught his younger schoolmate Rico Rodriguez to play the trombone.[5]

Playing behind every artist of note during those years, he also provided crucial input that helped along acts like Bob Marley and the Wailers

they became known as the Skatalites in 1963, making several seminal recordings for leading producers and backing many prominent singers, as well as the fledgling Bob Marley and the Wailers. The Skatalites’ most distinctive musical presence was trombonist, composer, and arranger Drummond. A colourful figure who grappled with mental instability (he was institutionalized after murdering his girlfriend and died in confinement), Drummond was the central musician of the era, as essential to the development of ska as Marley was to reggae.---SKA !!!!!
